Irving Israel, an actor who spent his childhood in Denver, passed away at the end of February at the age of 84.
Irv was the head boy at Lake Junior High.
He joined the Navy and then moved to the Bay Area.
Irv had a career at the Actors Workshop with Jules Irving and then the Berkeley Repertory Theater.
He appeared in several movies and the TV series Streets of San Francisco.
Irv Israel is survived by his wife Jan of San Francisco; son Cliff Erickson of San Francisco; and half-brother Abe Wagner and half-sister Rosalie Wagner of Denver.
