Eleanor Ellie Pepper, longtime owner of Pampered Papers of Colorado, passed away Feb. 23, 2014, in Denver. Rabbi Joe Black and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the Feb. 25 service held at Temple Emanuels Feiner Chapel.
Interment followed at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Pepper was born March 6, 1927, in Denver, to the late Celia and Jack Manassee. She had two siblings, Irving Manassee and the late Florence Mador.
A North High graduate, she attended DU.
She married Irwin Pepper on Sept. 6, 1954. Mr. Pepper passed away on Dec. 13, 2011.
Mrs. Pepper owned the stationary store Pampered Papers of Colorado for 32 years.
She was a Denver resident her entire life.
Mrs. Pepper is survived by her son Brad (Dawn) Pepper and daughter Janet (Ron) Shiroff; grandchildren Juliana and Liliana Pepper; brother Irv Manassee; and sister-in-law Joanne (the late Miff) Pepper.
