Helen Marilyn Werthan, a Denver realtor for 47 years, passed away May 1, 2010, in Aurora. Rabbi Tirzah Firestone officiated at the May 3 service at Feldman Chapel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Her great-grandchildren called her Supergrandma, the family said.
Helen Dveirn was born February 9, 1923, in Denver. She graduated East High School in 1941 and attended DU for two years.
She was married to Gene Werthan for 63 years. Mr. Werthan passed away in April, 2003.
A realtor for almost 50 years, Mrs. Werthan retired in 2006.
Mrs. Werthan is survived by her children Susan (Carlos) Murawczyk, Allan (Vanessa) Werthan and Wendy (Allen) Berger; sister Dorothy Udevitz; grandchildren Richard, Chad and Mikey Murawczyk, Asher, Clair and Lily Werthan and Aliza and Sonia Berger; and great-grandchildren Jack and Daniela Murawczyk.
