Marvin Goldman

Marvin Goldman, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away July 14, 2019, in Denver. Rabbis Sara Gilbert and Yossi Serebryanski officiated at the July 18 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mr. Goldman was born June 27, 1952, in Denver. He graduated North High School and earned an accounting degree from CU.

He married Cindy Silverman in November, 1981. Mrs. Goldman passed away in November 2011.

Mr. Goldman, a CPA, was also an accomplished bicyclist who regularly participated in Bike Colorado and biked through Israel in 2013. He also bowled with B’nai B’rith.

In addition to raising funds for JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Mr. Goldman visited Jewish inmates at the Canon City penitentiary on Rosh Hashanah and Passover.

He led services at the Allied Jewish Apartments (now Kavod Senior Life) and belonged to Toastmaster’s.

Mr. Goldman is survived by his children Ira Goldman and Nicky (Amanda) White; grandchildren Jordan and Daniel; and an extended family in Denver.

He was predeceased by his stepson Joey White.
