The lunatics are running the asylum

On Sept. 27, the international police organization Interpol voted to accept the “State of Palestine” as a full member.

This is no innocent diplomatic move. Even such moves as the PA joining UNESCO have had dramatic, negative repercussions for Israel. Now, the Interpol move gives the Palestinians much more concrete power, namely, the right to issue a “Red Notice” against Israeli security personnel, including IDF soldiers. A member state is required to arrest any person who is the subject of a “Red Notice.” Evidence for the arrest is required only later.

Not only that, being an Interpol member means access to intelligence. Will Israel want to share information with Interpol, when the perpetrators have access to the information?

After a Tuesday terror attack that left three Israelis dead, a spokesperson for Fatah blamed Israel for the cold-blooded triple murder. Fatah — the party of Mahmoud Abbas, president of the “State ofPalestine,” Interpol’s newest member.

This is not a parody. The same Palestinians who openly support terror are now part of an organization whose mission is to make the world a safer place. Lunatics, asylum — indeed.
