Iranian scientist: ‘Annihilate Israel’

Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, an Iranian nuclear scientist, was recently assassinated.

After his death, his wife told the Fars New Agency in an interview published Feb. 21 that her husband’s “ultimate goal goal was the annihilation of Israel.”

Fatemeh Bolouri Kashani, the wife of Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, said that her husband was highly supportive of individuals that fought for the rights of the Palestinians against Israel.

Roshan, a chemistry professor and deputy director of commerce at Iran’s Natanz enrichment facility, was killed by a car bomb in early January, 2012.

He is one of at least four Iranian nuclear scientists to have been killed in anonymous attacks since January, 2010.

Iranian officials have blamed the killings on operatives of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency and America’s Central Intelligence Agency.

Perhaps they should blame themselves. People who want to annihilate another country have declared war on it. Countries under attack fight back.

Note well, all good folks out there who doubt Iran’s intentions:

It wants nuclear weapons.

It wants Israel annihilated.

Any other claim only muddies the discourse and clouds the requisite understanding of Israel’s position.
