Ileen Sherman, a resident of Denver since 1952, passed away January 29, 2018, in Monsey, NY. The service and burial were held in Monsey, NY.
“An Aishes Chayil, she was devoted to her husband and encouraged her children and grandchildren,” the family said. “Very generous, she was always there for people.
“She gave unforgettable memories to her grandchildren, and was a source of inspiration in her loyalty, dedication and love toward her children.”
Mrs. Sherman was born March 3, 1928, in Gary, Ind.
She married Dr. Leon Sherman in 1952, and the couple moved to Denver shortly thereafter.
Mrs. Sherman was the office administrator for her husband.
Dr. Sherman passed away on Oct. 19, 2009.
Mrs. Sherman is survived by her children Lynda Sherman of Junction City, Kan., and Leslie Laskin of Monsey, NY; grandchildren Dovid Yitzchok, Tamar and Elisheva, Elana, Akiva, Yocheved and Chaim; and four great-grandchildren.
