Gary Neil Goralnik, MD, PhD, a radiologist and former Denverite, passed away Feb. 7, 2020, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Rabbi Robert Kravitz officiated at the Feb. 9 graveside service at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Scottsdale. Sinai Funeral Home made the arrangements.
Dr. Goralnik was born Feb. 28, 1955, in Denver.
A graduate of Carson Elementary, Hill Junior and George Washington High, he earned his undergraduate degree in three years from Harvard and his doctorate and MD at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Goralnik was married to Dr. Cynthia Haimes Goralnik, who predeceased him.
He practiced radiology in Cleveland, Denver and Phoenix.
Dr. Goralnik is survived by three children, Nathan Goralnik, Sara (David) Womack and Harry Goralnik; and his mother Sandra (the late Barry) Goralnik.
He was predeceased by his sister Julie Ann Goralnik in 2008.
