Brenda Rozenholc

Brenda Rozenholc, a Holocaust survivor, passed away March 21, 2013, in Denver. Rabbi Ben Greenberg and Cantor Joel Lichterman officiated at the March 22 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“She was the best wife, the best mom, the best friend, the best cook and the best soul,” her loved ones said.

Mrs. Rozenholc was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Lodz, Poland.

After the war she lived in Tel Aviv, Israel; Montreal, Canada; the Bronx, NY; and Denver.

She married David Rozenholc on April 13, 1948.

A wife and mother, Mrs. Rozenholc dedicated her life to her family.

Mrs. Rozenholc is survived by her husband David Rozenholc of Denver; son Jacob Rozenholc of Denver and daughter Lily (George) Scheurenbrand of Queens, NY, and Sag Harbor, NY; sister Fela (Isaak) Gorin of Munich, Germany; and sister-in-law Mina Rozenholc of New York, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
