Albert Brenman

Albert BrenmanAlbert Brenman, a respected Denver attorney from the late 1950s until 2003, passed away Nov. 8, 2009, in Denver.

Rabbis Mitch Delcau and Lewis Bogage and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the Nov. 10 service at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Albert was simply a wonderful husband, father and grandfather,” the family said. “He was an honest and loyal human being and an asset to the community. His memory will remain forever in those who knew him.”

Mr. Brenman was born March 28, 1926, in Batavia, NY.

A graduate of Batavia High School, he attended Oberlin College, DU, and the DU College of Law.

Mr. Brenman served with the US Army in Europe from 1945 to 1948 and then moved to Denver.

He married Rosalie Feldman on Oct. 23, 1952.

President of the Denver chapter of American Friends of Alyn Hospital, he was also president of the DU  College of Law Alumni Association.

Mr. Brenman is survived by his wife  Rosalie Brenman of Denver; brother Harry Brenman of Denver and sister Sheila Sagman of NYC; children Jeffrey Brenman, David (Antonella) Brenman and Sue Brenman (Robert Melnick), all of Denver; and grandchildren Alex Brenman and Stella Brenman, both of Denver.
