Aaron Ainbinder

Longtime Denver resident Aaron Lloyd Ainbinder died on May 9, 2022. He was 63. A service was held May 11 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Yossi Serebryanski. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mr. Ainbinder was an assistant director at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, where his family said he “built many treasured friendships within the community, both personally and professionally.”

Seth Weisberg, a friend of Mr. Ainbinder, said, “Aaron’s work for Mt. Nebo Cemetery is the embodiment of Ahavas Israel — ensuring a loving farewell for members of our community and caring for the bereaved families.”

Born in New York City on March 5, 1959, Mr. Ainbinder’s family moved to Denver, where Aaron attended George Washington High School and DU.

He authored the book Just Before the Stroke of Seven — a Caregiver’s Tour of Stroke, Aphasia and Dementia, which detailed his experience as a full-time caregiver to his mother Marcie.

Survivors include siblings Amy Ainbinder, Larry (Janet Robinson) Ainbinder and Darryl (Lily Mai) Ainbinder.

Contributions may be made to the York Street Club in Denver or the Staenberg-Loup JCC.
