Sydney Storman

Sydney Storman passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 81. A service was held on November 6 at Feldman Mortuary, with interment at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Evette Lutman. Feldman Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Mrs. Storman, a native of Laurelton, NY, earned a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University. She worked in the health insurance industry, starting as a claims representative and then working with technology as a software tester.

“She cultivated a deep and abiding passion for the theatre, finding joy and wonder in the magic of the stage,” her family said. “She was an enthusiastic traveler who sought out new experiences and treasured memories from destinations far and wide.

Survivors are daughters Susan Giovannotto and Alexandra Storman; and grandchildren Salvatore, Hannah and Massimo Giovannaotto.

Contributions may be made to ASPCA Nature Conservancy, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum or the Denver Center Theater Company.

Annette Schneider Annette Schneider

Longtime Denver resident Annette Schneider passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 78. A service was held on November 18 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

A native of St. Louis Park, Minn., and born on March 12, 1947, Annette married Philip Schneider at BMH in October, 1969. They were a couple for 56 years until Mrs. Schneider’s passing.

Mrs. Schneider worked for many years at Holly Heights Nursing Center.

“She loved the interaction with the residents and the rabbis,” her family said.

Survivors are Mrs. Schneider’s husband Philip; sons Lawrence (Jacki) Schneider and Daniel (Becky) Schneider; grandchildren Jacob, Zachary, Conner and Andrew Schneider; great-grandchild Avery Smith-Schneider; and brother Nate (MaryEllen) Karol.

Sue Meer Sue Meer

Longtime Denver resident Susan Meer died on October 2, 2025. She was 81. A service was held on October 9 at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

A native of Walla Walla, Wash., Mrs. Meer was born on April 2, 1944. She attended the University of Puget Sound and Temple University, graduating from Temple with a master’s in psychology.

Following college, Mrs. Meer embarked on a career as a school psychologist with Jefferson County Schools.

In 1986, Susan married Jerry Meer. They became partners in a commercial real estate business, which Mrs. Meer managed after Mr. Meer’s passing in 2019.

“She was a dynamo of a business woman and a master at organization,” Mrs. Meer’s family said.

Survivors are sister Myrna (Wayne) Cook; nephews Todd (Leanne) Cook and James (Kathryn) Cook; Mr. Meer’s daughters Teresa Burbach and Devra Meer; and Mr. Meer’s nephews Michael (Marcia) Levy and Mark (Nisa) Levy.
