Gary Sindler
Gary Sindler died on May 11, 2024, at the age of 77. A service was held on May 16 at Temple Emanuel, officiated by Rabbi Joe Black. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Sindler, formerly of Baltimore, Md., graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in accounting.
He worked his way up to several senior finance roles at Alexander & Alexander, and had a long career in corporate finance. He retired in 2012 and moved to Denver to be closer to family.
“He made lifelong friends at work in large part due to his great work ethic, attitude, sense of humor and the ability to not take himself or work too seriously,” Mr. Sindler’s family said.
A devoted baseball fan, particularly of the Baltimore Orioles, Mr. Sindler’s family said “A perfect day for him was a day at the ballpark.
“Almost all who knew him will remember his kindness, his smile, his sense of humor and his love of baseball and music.
“But mostly they remember the way they would feel with his lighthearted and joyful approach to the world.”
Survivors are Mr. Sindler’s wife, Nancy Litvak; children Stephanie Sindler and Jason (Cindy Long) Sindler; step-daughter Elizabeth (Josh Fine) Litvak; and grandchildren Ellie, Ben and Mitchell.

Robert Dansky
Denver native and WW II veteran Robert (“Twill”) Dansky died on May 18, 2024, at the age of 96. A service was held on May 23 at Golden Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Steven Foster. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Born on August 7, 1927, Mr. Dansky grew up on Denver’s West Side, where he and his brother Jack helped their parents run their small grocery on West Colfax. He attended DU, where he studied art.
Drafted by the US Army, Mr. Dansky was in the military police in WW II.
In June, 1957, Robert and Charleen Dansky were married. They remained a couple for over 65 years until Mrs. Dansky’s passing in January, 2023.
Mr. Dansky had numerous vocations; he was a car salesman, mail carrier, cab driver, and was also involved with western wear manufacturing.
“Bob had a wonderful sense of humor and a generous spirit,” his family said. “He would be the first to offer assistance to anyone who needed it and had many long friendships.”
Survivors are daughters Lori Dansky (Jay) Hasbrouck and Cheri Dansky (Richard Brian) Mills; grandsons Cory Hasbrouck and Jeremy Hasbrouck; brother-in-law Edward (Louise Gallegos) Rosen; and nephew Ronald (Thealeyna) Newstat.
