Dianne Weinman
Third-generation Coloradan Dianne Boxer Weinman died on January 4, 2026, at the age of 77. A service was held at Mt. Nebo Cemetery on January 9, 2026. Feldman Mortuary handled the arrangements.
Born on January 20, 1948, Mrs. Weinman grew up in Denver, graduating from George Washington High School in 1965 and earning an associate arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., in 1967.
While at Stephens, Dianne met Cary Weinman. The couple was married for 56 years before Mrs. Weinman’s passing.
“She made everything beautiful,” her family said. “She loved nature and created art that reflected the beauty she saw in the world — often landscapes, trees and flowers, rendered in acrylics, watercolor and cut glass.
“She planted and cultivated lovely and prolific flower and vegetable gardens and spectacular houseplants. She loved animals and her many pets were beloved members of the family.
“We will remember her in the small details of her life — an iced tea with extra lemon, a splatter of paint, the tiny blooms on a potted jade — and always think of the beautiful way of living and viewing the world.”
Survivors are husband Cary Weinman; children Lisa (John Butts), Jason (Yeva Aleksanyan), Sember (Alexander Laubin) and Zachary; and grandchildren Kate, Adam, Rowan, Calder, Dov and Ani.

Sofica Fuchs
Longtime Denver resident Sofica Fuchs passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 89. A service was held on February 6 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Yaakov Chaitovsky. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Fuchs was born on January 8, 1937, in Galati, Romania. She went to nursing school there.
Upon moving to Denver, Mrs. Fuchs was a charge nurse at Beth Israel Hospital. Following her retirement she was the nurse supervisor for several years at Wheatridge Manor.
On April 12, 1959, Sofica and Marcel Fuchs were married, also in Galati. Mr. Fuchs passed away in August, 2014.
“What made her special was her excellent work ethic,” her family said, “including the care she provided for her patients and the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”
Survivors are children Claudia (David) Miller and Rachel (Gregg) Schobinger; grandchildren Carley Copeland, Mollie Miller and Gabriel Schobinger; and great-grandchildren Chloe and Cassidy Copeland.
Florence Dollin
Florence Dollin passed away on November 3, 2025. She was 93. A service was held on November 4 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Born in Providence, RI, Mrs. Dollin was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Marvin Dollin. She was the mother of former HEA Rabbi Bruce Dollin.
Survivors are children Audrey (Charles) Brandt, Sheri Dollin and Rabbi Bruce (Tamra) Dollin; and grandchildren Dr. Justin (Stephanie) Brandt, Richard (Nicole) Brandt, Daniel Brandt, Dr. Yonatan (Kayla) Dollin, Dr. Shai (Rebecca) Dollin, Akiva (Michelle) Dolin and Aviva (Ryan) Dollin-Fleischer.
