Merle Greenspoon

Merle L. Greenspoon, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away Aug. 6, 2010, in Denver. Cantor Maurice Weiss officiated at the Aug. 8 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

The family said Mr. Greenspoon’s love of dogs was “above and beyond.”

Mr. Greenspoon was born March 20, 1924, in Denver. He graduated from West High and attended DU for four years.

 

From 1943 to 1945, he served with the US Army in Germany.

 

Mr. Greenspoon married Rosaline (Roz) Fladerman on June 15, 1947.

The owner and operator of Federal Auto Wreckers, he retired from business in 1995.

Mr. Greenspoon is survived by his wife Rosaline (Roz) Greenspoon; children Debby (Myles) Weisman, Cheri (Richard) Warshaw and Lori (Buck) Boze; and grandchildren Jeremy, Ashley, Melissa and Heather.
