Helen Boxer

Helen BoxerHelen Harris Boxer, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away Feb. 16, 2010, in Denver. Rabbi Selwyn Franklin officiated at the Feb. 17 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Boxer was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Denver. She attended South High School and DU.

She married Martin Boxer on Oct. 11, 1944. They were married for 65 years.

Mrs. Boxer was a homemaker.


She is survived by her husband Martin Boxer of Denver; children Judy (Jack) Wartell of Denver and Gary (Sue) Boxer of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren Rebecca (Bill) Lobel and Dan (Nicole) Wartell of Denver, Jeff Boxer of Boulder, Amy Boxer, Stacey (Monte) Gilman and Laura (Elliot) Payne of Kansas City; great-granddaughters Maya and Noa Lobel of Denver and Eva and Julia Wartell of Denver; and sister Phyllis Levine, also of Denver.
