Born in Brooklyn on July 9, 1918, Mr. Siegel graduated from Thomas Jefferson High, where he met his wife Joan. They were married in 1940.
He entered the US Air Force in 1942.
A world traveler, Mr. Siegel became a successful real estate and stock market investor. He also was an avid reader who was very knowledgeable about world affairs and politics.
Mr. Siegel was devoted to his family. Even at the end of his life, he and his wife Joan wanted to send them on a two-week vacation cruise.
Mr. Siegel is survived by Joan Siegel, his wife of 69 years; and children Carol Siegel, Henry Siegel and Hester Siegel.
