William F. Schenkein, a Denver attorney, passed away April 7, 2009, in Greenwood Village.
Rabbi Richard Rheins officiated at the April 12 service held at Temple Sinai. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Schenkein was born February 11, 1930, in Denver.
A graduate of East High, he received his BA at the University of Chicago and his JD from the CU School of Law.
Mr. Schenkein served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956.
He married Pamela Ephraim on January 28, 1954.
Mr. Schenkein, who retired from practicing law in 1996, belonged to Capital City Kiwanis and the University of Chicago Alumni Association.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Schenkein of Denver; children Ed (Judy) Schenkein and Suzy (Andy) Cooper of Denver; and grandchildren Sarah and Sam Schenkein and Eddie and Clare Cooper, all of Denver.
