other day, as I was typing “Twitter” into Google, I had a random thought: What would Roald Dahl make of tweeting? Why specifically Dahl? Because he wrote a book entitled The Twits — a moniker one could easily imagine the irascible author applying to all Twitter users. Dahl’s writing isn’t known for being polite. In fact, his very appeal lies in his relish for the impolite. It’s why children (and adults) love his creations.
