Documentary king Ken Burns has done it again. The Roosevelts: An Intimate History,which just aired on PBS, strips away myths and exposes the facts surrounding this American dynasty. Actress Meryl Streep, who provides the voice of Eleanor Roosevelt, is astonishing, as is Paul Giamatti as Theodore.
Impeccably delivered, The Roosevelts is a comprehensive look at a family in constant struggle with its inner demons and a chaotic world. It matters little whether you agree with their politics only that you understand the urge.
