Thank you, Mr. Vice President!

. I just don’t get it. Vice President Pence arrives in Jerusalem, and makes a groundbreaking speech at the Israeli parliament, the Knesset. He acknowledges that the modern State of Israel is on the cusp of her 70th year with that added layer of care by speaking in the language of gratitude and reciting “Shehecheyanu ve-kiyemanu ve-higianu la-zeman hazeh.” By the standing ovations and constant warm applause he received, there seems to be consensus among Israel’s parliament.
