many years of travels or when living in New York City, my alma mater, Teachers College (TC), Columbia University, has always been a primary place for me. Everett Library. Gottesman Library. Milbank Memorial Library. It’s where I went when I needed to work. It’s where I went when I needed to write. It’s where I went when I needed space to relax. It was a home away from home of sorts while in New York. Somehow it had been a year since I had last visited.
