Sylvia Zoller Baker of Denver, formerly of Chicago, passed away Feb. 9, 2016, in Denver. Rabbi Yaakov Meyer officiated at the Feb. 10 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
“Sylvia loved life,” the family said. “She enjoyed art, drawing, traveling, painting, reading and spending time with her family. Most of all, she was a very happy lady.”
Mrs. Baker was born July 6, 1920, in Chicago, Ill.
She attended Marshall High School, Herzl College, Roosevelt University and the University of Chicago.
On July 22, 1953, she married Alexander Baker. Mr. Baker passed away on July 2, 2012.
An economist, Mrs. Baker worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago from 1941-1953, when she retired.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her children Mitchell Baker and Ruth Anne Baker, both of Denver.
