Summer fun in Denver

Now that Tisha b’Av is over, it’s time to focus once again on summer fun! In last month’s Generations Magazine, IJN intern Joe Parris investigated some tips for keeping kids busy and happy this summer. Just in case you missed it, we decided to post some of the highlights here – and some for grown-ups too!

  • Wild Animal Sanctuary: 30 miles from Denver, provides a view of wild animals in a more natural habitat.
  • Littleton Museum: Travel back to the 1800s, with living people reenacting life as it was back then.
  • City Park Jazz: Outdoor concerts on Sundays, with this week’s including a special event for Jewish young professionals.
  • History Colorado Center: Beautiful new building just steps from the Capitol Building, will take you back to what life was like in Colorado’s early days.
  • Now Boarding“: Terrific exhibition at the Denver Art Museum on airports.
  • Botanic Gardens: Sunset strolls, outdoor concerts, and as always beautiful horticulture!
  • Don’t Look Down“: A series of rooftop concerts at the new Museum of Contemporary Arts

Let us know what other summer events you’re looking forward to!
