Stephen Friedman

Stephen Friedman, a native Denverite, passed away January 24, 2018, in Gainesville, Va. Rabbi Shmuel Perlstein officiated at the Jan. 26 service at King David Memorial Gardens in Virginia. Cunningham Turch Funeral Home made the arrangements.

“He was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather,” the family said.

Mr. Friedman was born April 26, 1946, in Denver to Gerald and Rose Friedman.

He married Heidi Prince Friedman on Aug. 28, 1966.

A graduate of CU, Mr. Friedman served in the US Army from 1966-1969.

He was a computer programmer for Fairfax County Government.

Mr. Friedman is survived by his wife Heidi Friedman; children Adam Friedman of Gainesville, Va., Marc (Gina Schaefer) Friedman of Washington, DC, and Carin Friedman of Los Angeles, Calif.; and grandchildren Gabrielle and Isabel of Gainesville.
