Stanley Farber

Stanley “Stan” Farber, who founded Logan Liquors with his wife Rookie in 1976, passed away July 19, 2021, in Denver. He was 92. Rabbi Rick Rheins officiated at the July 21 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Stan will always be remembered for his gregarious personality, love of life, and most importantly, his love of family,” his loved ones said.

Mr. Farber grew up on Denver’s East Side.

He married Ruchille “Rookie” Thaler in 1954.

In 1976, the couple established Logan Liquors, which expanded to the West Washington Park neighborhood and grew into a three-generation family business.

Mrs. Farber passed away in 2006.

Stan Farber is survived by his daughter Lori (John) Spanbauer; grandchildren Allyson Spanbauer, Bradley (Sabrina) Farber and Justin (Brooke) Spanbauer; and great-grandchildren Cooper, Addison, Levi, Calvin, Gunnar and Peyton.

He was predeceased his son Alan Farber.

Contributions may be made to the Alan B. Farber Camp Scholarship Fund in care of Temple Sinai.
