StandWithUs is placing billboards in Denver to counter anti-Israel advertisements. The four advertisements went up Dec. 9 for a four-week run on RTD light rail, shuttle and buses.
The ads are on 16th Street Mall shuttles, on the sides of 10 buses and and the interiors of five light rail cars.
One advertisement establishes the Jewish presence in the Middle East for three millennia; two describe its many contributions to the world and one directs viewers to a website with the The Top 10 Things Palestinian Leaders Dont Want You To Know.
These advertisements are in addition to those placed in recent weeks separately by Americans Against Terrorism and JEWISHcolorado on buses and billboards in reaction to anti-Israel advertisements appearing on the buses in late October and early November.

Roz Rothstein, CEO of StandWithUS, says:
The newest anti-Israel campaign accuses Israel of using US aid to increase its purported ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. But statistics show that the Palestinian population has enjoyed tremendous growth. In 1948, 160,000 Arabs accepted Israels offer of citizenship, and their number has now soared to over 1.2 million Israeli Arab citizens.
When Israel began administering the West Bank and Gaza in 1967, the population was under 1 million people, while today it has risen to thriee million, and Palestinians boast one of the highest population growth rates in the world.
The only ethnic cleansing that occurred was of Jews: 850,000 were forced out of Arab lands, and today Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group governing Gaza, calls for the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Israel.
The real impediments to peace are terrorist groups that openly call for the destruction of Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East.
One billboard depicts Jewish loss of land by juxtaposing a map of the ancient Jewish kingdom, circa 1000 BCE, a map of the Jewish homeland internationally recognized by the League of Nations in 1920, and a map of the much smaller Israel of today.
Two posters highlight Israels cutting edge innovations such as instant messaging technology and water desalinization and conservation techniques.
