Sonya Fear, a longtime employee of the Denver Dry Goods and May D&F, passed away July 31, 2009, in Denver. Rabbi Eliot Baskin officiated at the Aug. 3 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Fear was born Aug. 15, 1934, in St. Louis, Mo. She lived in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Charleston, WV, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Bakersfield, Calif., before moving to Denver.
Married to Jerry Fear, she was a sales associate at the Denver Dry Goods, May D&F and Macys in Cherry Creek.
Mrs. Fear is survived by her husband Jerry Fear of Aurora; son Howard Fear of Arvada; sister Sophie Satanovsky of St. Louis; and granddaughter Katie Fear of Arvada.
