Sondra Siegel Turkins, formerly of Denver, passed away from pancreatic cancer on Nov. 25, 2015, in Poway, Calif. She was 55.
“Sondra’s kind and loving nature touched peoples hearts, as reflected in the quality of the relationships she maintained over the years,” her husband Alex Turkins said.
Loved and adored by family and friends, she will be missed more than any words can express.
Sondra was born Jan. 17, 1960, in Denver to Marlene and the late Arnold Siegel.
She attended Cherry Creek High and received a degree in English literature from the University of Puget Sound.
Sondra worked in the commercial health industry for 30 years.
A strong, independent woman, she loved her family, friends, pets and the Denver Broncos.
Sondra is survived by her husband Alex Turkins; children Ashley and Evan Rose; mother Marlene Siegel; and brothers Jay and Lee (Melanie) Siegel.
