Sidney L. Gilman passed away Oct. 4, 2010, in Denver. Rabbi Joseph Black officiated at the Oct. 7 service held at Feldman Chapel. Interment followed at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Gilman was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Malden, Mass.
A WW II veteran, he earned his undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and his MA from the University of Illinois.
Mr. Gilman married Shirley Kattlove on Nov. 27, 1947.
They moved to Denver 11 years ago from Chicago.
Mr. Gilman is survived by his wife Shirley Gilman of Denver; three children, Janis Gilman, Shelley (Stephen) Brake and Michael (Shauna) Gilman; and grandchildren Sara Gilman, Laura Gilman and David Brake.
