Sid Biderman, former assistant city attorney for the City of Denver, passed away June 15, 2018, in Denver. Rabbi Joe Black officiated at the June 19 service at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Sid was a very active baseball player,” the family said. “He started as a boy and played his last game this April.”

Mr. Biderman was born April 3, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Denver with his family at age four.

A graduate of North High School, he earned his JD at the CU Law School.

Mr. Biderman married Ellen Jo Lipp on June 16, 1962. Mrs. Biderman passed away on April 3, 2000.

After his tenure as assistant city attorney, Mr. Biderman worked as a lawyer until his 83rd birthday.

Active in the Colorado Over 50 Baseball League, Mr. Biderman was inducted into the Colorado Over 60 Baseball Assn. Hall of Fame in 2013.

He continued playing in both leagues until mid-April, 2018.

Mr. Biderman is survived by his children Mark Biderman and Karen Biderman.
