Shirley Francis-Goldstein, a Denver native and lifelong resident, passed away May 2, 2010, at her home in Denver. Rabbi Mitch Delcau officiated at the May 4 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, the family said.
Born Jan. 22, 1927, she attended North High and CU.
Shirley was married to Joe Francis. They later divorced.
She then married Jerry Goldstein. Mr. Goldstein predeceased his wife.
Mrs. Francis-Goldstein is survived by her children Lindsay (Dr. Anthony) Gronich, Mitch (Sandy) Francis and Susan (Robert) Iles; siblings Jack (Diane) Zelinger and Gerrie (Clifford) Peters; grandchildren Zachary (Laura) Gronich and Jessica Gronich; and great-granddaughter Alyssa Gronich.
