Shirley E. Cohen, a longtime Denver resident, passed away Jan. 2, 2015, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Rubenstein officiated at the Jan. 6 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Cohen was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Akron, Colo., and attended East High School. She studied at DU for almost two years.
She married Sidney P. Cohen on April 2, 1944. Mr. Cohen passed away on June 26, 1987.
A housewife, Mrs. Cohen worked for Trans America Title. She retired in 1989.
She belonged to VFW, Eastern Star and various bowling leagues.
Mrs. Cohen is survived by her son Jeffrey E. (Juldine) Cohen of Aurora, and granddaughter Danine Mann, also of Aurora.
