Seymour Kass

Seymour Kass, a native and lifelong Denverite, passed away Oct. 3, 2017, in Denver. The family held a private service. Shalom Funeral Service made the arrangements.

“A gentle and kind man, he loved everyone,” the family said.

Mr. Kass was born Dec. 8, 1936, in Denver.

He attended Colfax and Cheltenham Elementary, Lake Junior High and North High School.

Mr. Kass initially owned several bars, including the Peacock on North Washington with his brother Irwin.

He then went into car sales for many years.

Mr. Kass’ first wife, Joann Brooks Kass, passed away in 1967.

He married Harriet Kass on Dec. 28, 1992.

Mr. Kass is survived by his wife Harriet Kass; children Rodney Kass, Lynda Sinclair, Todd Kass, Alan Goodman and Mark (Grace) Goodman; grandchildren Michael Sinclair, Stephanie Sinclair, Tyler Kass, Chelbe Parker, Natalie and Liam Goodman; sister Charlotte Kass Seltzer and brother Irwin (Hilda) Kass.
