Security at local Jewish cemeteries

. Louis, Missouri: 170 headstones knocked over in the 129-year-old Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery. Philadelphia: At least 100 headstones overturned at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Recent weeks have seen an increasing number of American Jewish cemeteries vandalized, in some cases with a clear anti-Semitic intent. Combined with an increasing number of anti-Jewish hate crimes being reported, the question arises: How to prevent vandalism at the most sacred of places? The Denver area has three Jewish cemeteries. Several other Jewish cemeteries, or cemeteries with Jewish sections, can be found elsewhere in the Rocky Mountain region.
