Sandra Vowles

Sandra Jacobs Vowles, a native and lifelong Denverite, passed away March 11, 2019, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Foster officiated at the March 15 service held at Feldman Chapel. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“She was a beloved sister, mom, aunt, grandmother and friend,” the family said.

Ms. Vowles was born April 14, 1938, in Denver.

A graduate of North High School, she also attended DU.

Ms. Vowles, who worked in telecommunications, was an operator and a toll investigator.

She belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Sandra Vowles is survived by her brother Mike (Carol); daughters Vikki, Dana (Kevin) and Kristi (Max); grandson Tim; niece Sami (Tom) and nephew Tony; and great-nieces and great-nephew.

She was predeceased by son Kevin Dunbar in 1962.
