Samuel A. Goodman, former owner and operator of Western Repair Co. in Denver, passed away Nov. 3, 2010, in Denver. Rabbis Joe Black, Steven Foster and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the Nov. 5 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Feldman Mortuary.
Mr. Goodman just celebrated his 93rd birthday in September.
His family was his entire life, they said. He really enjoyed spending time with us.
Mr. Goodman was born Sept. 23, 1917, in Denver, and graduated from North High.
He was married to Ruth Garber for 39 years.
The owner of a landscape company in California, his major business concern was Western Repair Co. in Denver.
He retired in 1987.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his wife Ruth Goodman; children Dr. Dennis (Sylvia) Goodman, Barbara (Bob) Siegel, Susan (Bill) Curry, Dale (Tom) Lyneis, Cathy Burnley Hartrich, Joy Burnley Pocasangre; and siblings Jack (Shirley) Goodman and Sidney Goodman.
He was a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather.
