Ruth Hoffman Geisler, a former Denver resident, passed away March 10, 2012, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Rabbi Rony S. Keller officiated at the March 13 graveside service at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale.
Mrs. Geisler was born Jan. 12, 1919, in Philadelphia, Pa.
She married Aaron Geisler on March 3, 1940. Mr. Geisler predeceased his wife.
Active at BMH and Beth Joseph in Denver, Mrs. Geisler belonged to Hadassah and several other organizations both here and in Phoenix.
She loved playing Mah Jongg and was an avid sports fan.
Mrs. Geisler is survived by her children Arlene (Mark) Gorman and Jerry (Charlie) Geisler; grandchildren Nancy (Jeff) Turell, Andrew (Brenda) Gorman, Ted (Kerri) Geisler, Dana Geisler; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Shirley (Harvey) Baer of Denver.
