Russell D. Volk, a Denver native and longtime resident, passed away Jan. 22, 2014, in Denver. Rabbi Richard Rheins officiated at the Jan. 26 service at Temple Sinai.
Interment followed at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Volk was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Denver. He attended North High School and CU.
From 1952 to1955, he served in the US Army.
He was married to Sandra J. Farber.
Mr. Volk is survived by his wife Sandy Farber Volk of Denver; brother Richard Volk of Ft. Collins and sisters Denice Reich and Dasa Metzler of Denver; and sister-in-law Barbara Neal of Denver. He was the uncle of Rem and Kathy Bashari, also of Denver.
