Rubin Howard Kravitz, a Denver resident, passed away Sept. 4, 2011, in Denver. Rabbi Yehuda Amsel officiated at the Sept. 4 service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Kravitz was born in the Bronx, NY, and later moved to Denver.
He served with the US Army in the Philippines from 1944-1948, and attended trade school. He was a machinist.
He was married to Naomi Lipton Kravitz for 25 years. Mrs. Kravitz passed away in 1975. He was then married to Trudy Bass for nine years.
Mr. Kravitz is survived by his children Daniel (Jeannie) Kravitz and Claire Debra Woodridge Mitchell; grandchildren Isaac (Tamar) Kravitz, Naomi (Michael) Nudell, Heidi, Becky, Tammy, Joel and Sarah; and great-grandchildren Gavrial, Ezra, Natan and Noam.
