Rose Rosenbaum

Rose RosenbaumRose Rosenbaum, a Denver native and lifelong resident, passed away Jan. 27, 2012, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Foster officiated at the Jan. 29 service at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“She was a cherished mother, loving grandmother (bubbie) and great-grandmother,” the family said.

Rose Weinstein was born May 18, 1916, in Denver.

A graduate of North High School, she attended DU for one year.

She was married to Harvey H. Rosenbaum, who passed away in March, 2006.

Mrs. Rosenbaum worked with the Colorado Highway Department.

She was one of the founders of the B’nai B’rith Women’s Bowling League.

Mrs. Rosenbaum is survived by her children Sandee (Sig) Jaastad of Buena Vista, Colo., Penne (Bruce) Coffey of Evergreen, Terri Rosenbaum of Boulder and Debra Rosenbaum of Denver; grandchildren TJ Gott of Denver, Scott Cooper of Moorestown, NJ, Tammy Gott of Denver, Rick Cooper of Jerusalem, Gregg Cooper of Houston, Molly Zimmerman of Boulder and Abby Zimmerman of Eugene, Ore.; and three great-grandchildren.
