Rosalie Rhea Brenman, who helped establish Temple Micah and the Colorado chapter of American Friends of ALYN Hospital, passed away July 17, 2010, in Englewood.
Rabbis Mitch Delcau and Lewis Bogage and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the July 20 service held at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Rosalies greatest joy was becoming a grandmother later in life to Alex and Stella Brenman, the family said.
Her attention provided an essential element of their youth that they will fondly remember throughout their lives.
Mrs. Brenman was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Denver, to the late Harry and Dora Feldman.
A student at Cheltenham Elementary and Lake Junior High, she graduated from North High and later attended DU.

The Brenmans first heard about ALYN Hospital during a trip to Israel in 1969 for their son Davids Bar Mitzvah.
Inspired to create a local chapter of American Friends of ALYN Hospital, the couple held annual dinners and various fundraisers to provide support for the institution.
One of the people they introduced to ALYN was Steve Zerobnick, who subsequently established an annual bike-a-thon in Israel that generates millions of dollars for the hospital.
Mrs. Brenman, who helped establish Temple Micah with her husband, belonged to the temples sisterhood. She also was active in Temple Emanuels sisterhood, as well as Hadassah and Pioneer Women.
Mr. Brenman passed away on Nov. 6, 2009.
Rosalie Brenman is survived by her brother Norman (Sandy) Feldman; children Jeffrey Brenman, Sue (Robert Melnick) Brenman and David (Antonella) Brenman; and grandchildren Alex and Stella Brenman, all of Denver.
