Rosalee Fried Leiser Anzman, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away Jan. 31, 2012, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Foster and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the Feb. 3 service at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Rosalee was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest pleasure was being with her family, her loved ones said. She lived a full life and was active in various charities and organizations. She was loved by many.
Rosalee Fried was born Jan. 12, 1921, in Denver. She graduated North High School and attended DU.
She married Earl Leiser on Aug. 18, 1940. Mr. Leiser passed away on Jan. 3, 1987.
On June 5, 1988, she married Ray Anzman.
A housewife, Mrs. Anzman was active in Hadassah, National Council of Jewish Women and Allied Jewish Federation.
She belonged to Green Gables Country Club.
Mrs. Anzman is survived by her husband Ray Anzman; children Carol Polevoy, Marcy (Richard) Schillay and Wayne Leiser; grandchildren Dan (Hillary) Burns, Doug (Julie) Goran, Nicki (Dan) Greninger, Jordy Leiser and Wendy Leiser; and five great-grandchildren.
