Ronald Meyer

Ronald Meyer, 82, an entrepreneur, passed away July 12, 2019, in Denver. Rabbi Emily Hyatt officiated at the July 16 service at Feldman Chapel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“He did so many different things,” the family said. “He had quite an imagination.”

Mr. Meyer was born May 26, 1937, in Denver to Donald and Celia Meyer.

He attended Park Hill Elementary, Gove Junior, East High School and Colorado State University.

Mr. Meyer, a veteran of the US Navy, was a 60-year member of Columbine Lodge #147.

He was also deputy sheriff of Arapahoe County for a period.

Mr. Meyer is survived by his children Donald Meyer and Kimberly Simmons; sister Hetty Meyer (Dr. Frank) Gold; and grandchildren Padraig, Declan, McKenna and Alex.
