Ron Handler

Ron Handler, a native Westsider and an entrepreneur, passed away Dec. 3, 2019, in Denver. Cantor Martin Goldstein officiated at the Dec. 6 service at Feldman Chapel. Interment followed at Golden Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“He will be missed,” his family said.

Mr. Handler was born Jan. 28, 1938, on Denver’s West Side. He had a twin brother, Donald; two brothers who were also twins; and a sister.

A graduate of Colfax Elementary, Lake Junior and North High School, he was a member of the Coast Guard.

Mr. Handler married Darlene Handler 60 years ago. Mrs. Handler passed away in June, 2018.

An entrepreneur, he owned several businesses and also was a commercial realtor.

Mr. Handler belonged to the HEA and was a proud Mason.

Ron Handler is survived by his children Mickey (Mary) Handler and Juli (Steve) Handler-Ivey; grandchildren Max Handler, Sydney and Taylor Ivey; sister Sally Rose Rosenbaum; brother-in-law Howard Cohen; and many nieces and nephews.
