
She took her last breath in her own home two days before her 92nd birthday, surrounded by her family, her loved ones said.
Mrs. Malach was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Poland.
She married Lev Malach in 1939.
The couple escaped to Russia, where they remained until 1945. They lived in Israel before moving to Denver in 1974.
Mr. Malach passed away in 2006.
A hardworking woman, Mrs. Malach prepared meals in the JCC kitchen for 15 years.
She resided at the Allied Jewish Apartments for 35 years.
Mrs. Malach is survived by three children, sons Feja Malach and Dov Malach and daughter Hedva Bank; grandchildren Galit Masa, Sarit Montoya, Tomer Bank, Taami Bash, Steven Malach, Nili Poynter, Liat Walker and Sharon Griniasti; and great-grandchildren David, Rachel, Kesem, Nes, Ahmi, Noah, Tali, Arielle, Mia, Evi, Ariana, Gelah, Avi, Oz, Shlomo, Dudi and Hana.
