Richard RosenbergRichard Rosenberg, a partner at Schriber Decorating, passed away June 2, 2015, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Foster officiated at the June 7 graveside service at Golden Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“He valued every moment he spent with his grandchildren, and they loved him very much,” the family said.

Mr. Rosenberg was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Denver to Shirley and Ben Rosenberg.

A proud, lifelong Denverite, he attended Carson Elementary, Gove Junior and East High, graduating in 1954.

Mr. Rosenberg was divorced from his wife Marilyn Rosenberg.

He was a partner at Schriber Decorating, a commercial and residential painting and drywall company.

A board member of Rose Hospital, Mr. Rosenberg belonged to Green Gables Country Club where he spent many weekends playing golf and cards.

Mr. Rosenberg is survived by his children and their spouses Mark and Amy Kirkpatrick Rosenberg of Denver and Amy Rosenberg and John Slafsky of Palo Alto, Calif.; and grandchildren Nathan Rosenberg of Denver and Ethan and Jessie Slafsky of Palo Alto.
