Funeral services for Richard L. Hanssen, 75, who passed away Dec. 27, 2013, at his home in Iowa, were held in Davenport, Iowa.
He was the father of former Denverite Gavi (Robin) Hanssen, now of Eshchar, Misgav, Israel.
Gavi traveled to Iowa to attend the services, as did his in-laws Barbara and Steve Zimmerman of Denver.
Mr. Hanssen is also survived by his wife Irene; son Todd (Sheila) Hanssen of Wheaton, Ill.; grandchildren Azriel, Yonah, Dov and Meirav Hanssen of Eshchar and Matthew Hanssen of Wheaton; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
