Stuart Raynor has resigned from his position as CEO of the Loup JCC, it was announced by JCC Board Chair Scott H. Reisch, on Wednesday, March 9.
Raynor has been CEO of the JCC for nine years.
To ensure a smooth leadership transition, Raynor has agreed to stay on as executive advisor to the interim or successor CEO through June 30, 2016.
“This decision was made after months and months of careful reflection,” Raynor explained. “I appreciate the opportunity I was given over the past nine years, with the assistance of many talented members of our community, to help guide the JCC to where it is today. I wish everyone at the JCC, especially including my senior staff, JCC employees and all JCC members, only the very best. Whenever we finish a book of Torah, we recite the words, chazak, chazak, v’nitchazek — may the JCC and this community be strong and continue to strengthen one another in the years to come.”
Reisch stated, ”We are grateful to have had Stuarts leadership over the past nine years. I also want to extend my personal thanks to Stuart for his guidance during my term as board chair and for his willingness to remain with the JCC for a few more months in an advisory role to help us through this transition period.”
JCC board member Dan Seff added, “Having served on the JCCs board for many years during Stuarts tenure here, I am sad to see him leave the JCC and wish him the best of luck in whatever paths his passions take him.”
Stuart has been a valuable and trusted executive.
The board has established a search committee, chaired by long-time board members Gary Wagner and Betsy Mordecai, to identify and recruit Raynors successor.
The board has appointed Karla Hanlon, the JCC’s current chief financial officer, as interim CEO during the transition.
