Ramah in the Rockies is hosting its second annual family camp Aug. 6-9.
Families will spend the weekend at the site of Ramah in the Rockies in the Rocky Mountains.
Adults will engage in study and discussion of The Sabbath by Abraham Joshua Heschel. Programming will be provided for children.
Family Camp highlights include :
Shabbat services and celebration;
Family campfire, singing and Israeli dancing;
Hiking, wild-erness crafts and bike riding.
Special programming will be provided for children entering kindergarten-5th grade.
Eight-12th graders are invited to participate in the Tzedek Ramah initiative, a Jewish social justice curriculum empowering the teens to become community organizers.
